Future Plans

This is my way of learning Divi and WordPress. I do hope to start learning how to build a site from the ground up, instead of jumping in the middle, and repeating things over and over.  There are ways to use Default Settings, Templates, etc. that will be a big time-saver, and add consistency.

A few ideas I might try are a blog maybe, or a Photo Journal? Do share any suggestions!

¡Espere, por favor!

Why, “Wait Please”?
¿Por qué, “¡Espere, por favor!” ?

Our “Caregiving Sabbatical”.

My wife , with her faith, and her Sister, (more about her sister here) are now taking care of her parents.  Until that much dreaded day, when we will return to our casa with very heavy hearts and many tears in our eyes, this website will be in a temporary state of progress.

Wandering Moose

I’ve lived in 6 countries, lived in 9 different states, and visited 25 countries.

I hope to add a page, or series of pages, that show some of my favorite photos and memories of the many places I’ve been.

One thing you will never find on my site(s) are ads.  I miss the good old days of the small web. By “small web” I mean when websites used to be personal, non-commercial websites created by individuals who just want to share their thoughts, hobbies, or knowledge – not make money. It brings back memories of the internet’s golden age in the 1980s and 90s, when people connected through bulletin board systems (BBSs), chatted on IRC channels, shared discussions on Usenet newsgroups, and built simple personal websites because they enjoyed it. This was before big corporations turned the internet into an advertising machine, when online communities felt more like friendly neighborhoods than shopping malls.
